Our yoga retreats take place in the Canary Islands, one of Europe’s most desirable destinations for year-round sunshine and mild temperatures, averaging around 20°C even in winter. Just a few hours from mainland Europe, Tenerife offers the perfect escape to relax, recharge, and reconnect.

The retreat is located in Punta del Hidalgo, a picturesque coastal village in the northeast of Tenerife. This charming and authentic town has preserved its traditional fishing spirit and remains from mass tourism, offering a peaceful and natural environment.

Surrounded by the stunning Anaga Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean, Punta del Hidalgo is ideal for relaxation and outdoor activities such as surfing, swimming in natural pools, hiking, cycling, and long walks along the coastline.

Only 15 km from Tenerife North Airport and 74 km from the South Airport, the location is easily accessible while maintaining a sense of tranquility and seclusion.

Nearby, the historic town of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers cultural richness and colonial architecture. A visit to Teide National Park, home to one of the world’s highest volcanoes, is also a must during your stay.

In the village, you will find small supermarkets, local shops, a pharmacy, and a selection of restaurants and bars serving fresh fish, seafood, and traditional Canarian cuisine. The nearby town of Bajamar, just 3 km away, offers additional amenities, including supermarkets, restaurants, and an organic food store.

Getting around the area

The whole island is connected to a bus network, the nearest bus stop called “La Hoya” (bus n. 050 from San Cristobal de La Laguna and n. 105 from Santa Cruz) is 50 meters from the apartment. However, to visit the island and discover its corners, it is recommended to rent a car. Please notice that we do not offer private parking spaces. There is possibility to park on the side of the road in front of the yoga centre.

Coming from the airport

From the Tenerfie Sur Airport: take bus line 111 to Santa Cruz and then line 105 direction Punta del Hidalgo. The bus stop called “La Hoya” is less than 5 minutes from the house.
