Yoga retreats in Tenerife is located in the picturesque town of Punta del Hidalgo.

Punta del Hidalgo is a small coastal town in the northeast of Tenerife, which still preserves its old fishing soul. The temperature is very mild throughout the year. It is located 15km from Los Rodeos North Airport and 74km from South Airport. It is a very charming place, tourism here is very little overcrowded. You can savor the authenticity of a relaxed lifestyle in still fairly untouched nature. It is ideal for relaxing and resting, as well as surfing, swimming in the surrounding natural pools, hiking, cycling and long walks along the sea and in the surrounding rural environment. The town of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, just 16 km away, is a basin declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. You cannot return home without having visited the Teide National Park, the third highest volcano in the world. Punta del Hidalgo is surrounded by the magnificent Anaga Mountains.

In the town there are small supermarkets, greengrocers, a pharmacy, few restaurants and bars to enjoy fresh fish and shellfish as well as typical Canarian cuisine. The town of Bajamar is located about 3km away, where, in addition to supermarkets and typical restaurants, there is an organic store.

Getting around the area

The whole island is connected to a bus network, the nearest bus stop called “La Hoya” (bus n. 050 from San Cristobal de La Laguna and n. 105 from Santa Cruz) is 50 meters from the apartment. However, to visit the island and discover its corners, it is recommended to rent a car. Please notice that we do not offer private parking spaces. There is possibility to park on the side of the road in front of the yoga centre.

Coming from the airport

From the Tenerfie Sur Airport: take bus line 111 to Santa Cruz and then line 105 direction Punta del Hidalgo. The bus stop called “La Hoya” is less than 5 minutes from the house.
